Spread the Mango Love

Whether you take part in Valentine’s day celebrations or not, you have to admit that it’s quite nice to have a day of the year entirely dedicated to love. This year, I’m opening up my studio for a special edition Valentine’s workshop with a focus on the healing powers of love.

Come as you are

Valentine’s is not just a day for couples, it should be a celebration of the love we have for those around us. My first memories of Valentine’s day include a candy exchange in my elementary school classroom. Myself and all of my classmates brought in candies and little love notes for everyone and we spent a part of the day exchanging them. It’s kinda lame that adults don’t also celebrate the day in this way.

My goal for this year’s session is to harness this collective power of love. We will begin with a grounding meditation (as always) and a visualization exercise. We will then turn inwards for a reflection activity about self-love. With all of this inner work and reflection comes the need to put out creative energy, lucky for you that’s just what’s in store! Your art will inherently reflect the energy of love because of the time we will spend crafting intention.

There’s always room for fun

At Mango in a Pot, we’re all about crafting experiences. The art you create is directly dependent on how you feel when you’re creating it. We will be grounded and mindful throughout the evening, while leaving space for generally jolliness.

You will have a glass of champagne on arrival and wine will be served throughout the session. There will also be a selection of fine cheeses and snacks. After the workshop, you will head home with a little goody bag, it’s contents must be kept a surprise until then…

How to sign up?

I will be honest, I’ve been procrastinating writing this blog post, and the workshop has filled up quite quickly on it’s own. That being said, there are still a few open spaces. If you’re interested in joining, you can find out more information here.
