Claydate Drop-ins

Whether you’re in need of some creative alone time or looking for a cute claydate, dropping in for studio time might be just what you need.

Mango Studio Time

It’s now possible to pop by the studio for a creative escape! I know how healing it can be to sit down with a bit of clay for a couple of hours, so I opened up my studio to people who want to take their clay time into their own hands. Dropping-in for studio time is meant for those who have a bit of experience already working with clay. As it’s not a workshop, you will really be on your own with full access to materials and tools (kiln firing is not included).

Mango in a Pot is open for drop-ins from 12-7pm, Wednesday through Sunday (subject to availability). You can drop-in for a minimum of 2 hours, at €10 per hour. You can come alone to simply recharge your creative batteries, or you can bring a friend, family member, lover, hell, even bring your post man! It’s the perfect excuse to hang out and make something beautiful out of clay.

What can I do during a drop-in?

You will have access to clay, tools, glazes and tea/coffee during your time at the studio (wheel access is not included). You can really spend your studio time working on whatever you’d like. A lot of people who have been coming for drop-ins have started a piece and continued working on it over the course of a couple days/weeks. It’s really about how you want to create with clay and how you mange your time. Once you’ve created something, you can fire it in my kiln (for €8 per kilo) and then come back for more studio time to glaze it, and then we will put it back in the kiln for it’s final firing.

How can I book?

You can book your studio time by purchasing a drop-in voucher and specifying at checkout when you will be coming into the studio. Please keep in mind that studio open times are Wednesday-Sunday 12-7pm. The last drop-in slot of the day starts at 5pm.
