Mango in a Pot x Dutch Harvest
What happens when an organic tea brand and a ceramic artist cross paths? A carefully crafted collaboration that will ignite the flame for many tea kettles.
Tea lovers find each other
As a tea lover and sustainable agriculture enthusiast, it’s no mystery how I was able to stumble upon Dutch Harvest. With their carefully sourced, dutch-grown hemp, loose-leaf teas, Dutch Harvest is shining a light on the world of tea and plant medicine.
Esther, the founder of Dutch Harvest and a sustainability expert, started her love affair with hemp when she visited the hemp farmers in the Netherlands. She discovered that the hemp leaves were being wasted as the sought after hemp flowers were being harvested for their CBD. She's now using those same hemp leaves to create her mild and medicinal tea blends that help save the environment and give back to local farmers. She's on a mission to re-ignite our collective passion for the ritual of tea-drinking and spread the word about the benefits of hemp tea.
The grounding nature of handmade ceramics
There's definitely a special quality that can be assigned to almost any handmade object, but there's something special about incorporating small-batch pottery into your ritual of tea. The vision behind the collaboration between Mango in a Pot and Dutch Harvest was just that: "how can we create a special vessel for tea ceremony that will elevate the experience?"
This project with Dutch Harvest challenged my creative boundaries and pushed me to create in a way I haven't done before. It's been such a joy to collaborate with such a cool brand. As a tea lover myself, it’s been a project that I will continue to inspire me going forward.
