Different types of workshops

  • Where Mango in a Pot got its start, handbuilding is the classic way to dip your toe in the waters of ceramics. We will focus on various handbuilding techniques in a group setting. The vibes and energy of the space will be curated for a relaxing session.

  • Want to try your hand at the potter’s wheel? Wheel throwing workshops are intimate groups of up to 3 people at Mango in a Pot, so you can get the most out of your lesson. Leasons candbe purcahsed individually in workshop packs for those looking to deepen their wheel throwing practice. Check the calendar below for dates/times. Learn more about our wheel throwing lessons here.

  • One of my personal favourites, glazing workshops are 10/10 on the vibe scale. You will have the opportunity to glaze a piece of pottery you’ve made in a previous workshop. The glazing workshops ae scheduled on a 1-to-1 basis. We’ll cover different glazing techniques and then the teacher will let you run wild with your paintbrush, always there to help you out if needed.
